WINTER 2025 HYBRID HOUSING
INSPECTOR TRAINING COURSE

MA Local Public Health Training Courses are developed by the Massachusetts Health Officers Association,
the Massachusetts Environmental Health Association, the Massachusetts Association of Health Boards, and
the Massachusetts Association of Public Health Nurses, led by the Boston University School of Public
Health and funded by the MDPH Office of Local and Regional Health. These food and housing courses will
continue to be offered to local health professionals regularly, and additional courses including wastewater,
recreational camps, pools, and more to follow.

Four Sessions with 18 Hours of Total Learning Time

Winter 2025 Hybrid Housing Course
Day 1 – In Person Session (6 hrs + Lunch)
Date: January 15th (Jan. 16th is the makeup date)
Time: 8:00am – 3:30pm
Location: City Hall Annex in Salem, MA

Days 2, 3, and 4 – Virtual Sessions (4 hrs each)
Dates: January 28th, 29th, and 30th
Time: 8:30am – 12:30pm
Location: Zoom
The Spring 2025 Hybrid Housing Course will be delivered in May in South Central MA.
COMPLETE TIER 1 COURSEWORK:

NOTE: All participants will be required to
complete Tier 1 prior to starting Tier 2

WHAT IS MASSACHUSETTS LOCAL PUBLIC HEALTH TRAINING PROGRAM?
A collaboration between The Office of Local and Regional Health, Boston University, and The Hub Training
Program. The Local Public Health Training Program is designed to prepare the local public health
workforce for the needs of their communities. It is a 3-tiered approach which includes self-paced courses
(Tier 1), instructor-led courses (Tier 2), and applied practice: Training Hub Program (Tier 3). For more
